We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from Florida, where a Ferrari 458 Italia has definitely seen better days. According to Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question was tuned by Underground Racing and its owner was attending a private event where other supercar owners were doing speed runs on the highway.
When his turn came, during the end of his first run, the owner of this one-off Ferrari 458 Italia crashed his ride and blamed the braking system, while walking away unharmed. The incident took place in Amelia Island, Florida. As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, also shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm available at 6,000 rpm. 80 percent of its torque is available from 3,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the Ferrari 458 Italia has been designed by Pininfarina.
