Ferrari 458 Italia crashed in South Africa image

A Ferrari 458 Italia supercar has been recently crashed in South Africa because its driver wasn’t paying attention to the road.

Bad news for all Ferrari lovers out there after an angry driver who wasn’t paying attention to the road at the time managed to crash his brand new 458 Italia. According to the guys at the Italian supercar in question was only 2 months old when it was ruined in Boksburg, South Africa. The Ferrari 458 Italia will need a complete makeover in order to be reborn and the driver will probably need a new prescription.

As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia is a mid-engined sports car which is replacing the old Ferrari F430. The 458 Italia was officially presented to the public back in 2009, at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, also shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm available at 6,000 rpm. 80 percent of its torque is available from 3,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the Ferrari 458 Italia has been designed by Pininfarina.
