Juventus’ defender Martin Caceres has managed to crash his Ferrari 458 Italia after driving under the influence of alcohol.
Things are not looking that well for Martin Caceres as the Uruguayan football player has been suspended and fined by his club after crashing his Ferrari 458 Italia while driving under the influence. The incident took place on the 28th of September, late at night, in Turin, Italy as Caceres has lost control of the wheel and crashed in several vehicles and a bus stop. The footballer’s blood alcohol was over the legal limit.
Martin Caceres has been defended by his agent, Daniel Fonseca, who said that it was nothing more than a dinner between friends in which the athlete had some champagne and that Martin was not drunk. However, because of the incident, he was suspended and fined by his club, Juventus. The image posted above is showing the crashed Ferrari 458 Italia which has some significant damages to its front fascia.
The Ferrari 458 has been replaced recently by the 488. This stayed in production between 2009 and 2015 and it was offered in two body styles, coupe and roadster, the 458 Italia and the 458 Spider. The rear mid-engined and rear-wheel drive supercar has a 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine under its hood, with 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is made in just 3.0 seconds and top speed stands at 340 km/h (210 mph).
