Ferrari 458 Italia facelift to be introduced at 2015 Geneva Motor Show

The facelifted version of the Ferrari 458 Italia is expected to be introduced next year, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

Ferrari is expected to pull a surprise on everyone and not develop a true successor of the 458 Italia but rather a facelifted version of the model, which will be called the M458-T. The model in question will be following the same path as the California and California T and it will basically be a heavily updated supercar. The new Ferrari M458-T will be coming with a revised exterior styling and this should make it instantly recognizable.

According to the guys from Car Magazine, the Ferrari 458 Italia facelift will be quicker than the current model and it should need less than the 3.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), while its top speed will stand at 315 km/h (196 mph). The Ferrari M458-T will be dropping the 4.5 liter V8 engine with 570 HP in favor of a newly developed twin turbo V8, which should produce approximately 670 HP (500 kW). More details on the updated supercar are limited for the moment and should be announced during the Swiss automotive event, next year.
