Another Ferrari 458 Italia has been involved in a new accident, this time in Como, Italy, after its driver has probably lost control of the wheel.
The Ferrari 458 Italia is probably one of the most crashed supercars these past few years and the newest one to be involved in such an incident is coming from Como, Italy. We are not actually sure how this black beauty managed to hit the guardrail but we do suspect that some speeding might have been involved, along with not enough driving experience. The good news is that no one seems to have been injured, the bad news is that the same cannot be said on the supercar.
Ferrari has been producing the 458 since 2009 but the model is getting ready to receive a successor. Until that will happen, the supercar is being offered in two body styles, the 458 Italia (Coupe) and the 458 Spider (Roadster). Both have a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout and a 4.5 liter V8 engine under their hoods. The unit is rated at 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
