A replacement for the impressive Ferrari 458 Italia has been recently envisioned by a designer.
The rear mid-engined supercar developed in Maranello, the Ferrari 458 Italia, will get a replacement over the following years and it might be the first out of the Lamborghini Aventador and McLaren MP4-12C to get a completely new design. The Italian based automaker didn’t announce any official date for when the 458 Italia will get a new generation, but that doesn’t mean that the model can’t be envisioned. The images posted below have been drawn by Aldo Schurmann and they represent the designer’s vision on what the replacement of the 458 Italia will look like.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia has been officially presented to the public back in 2009, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model has replaced the old F430 and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, shared with Maserati, which is developing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque available at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven speed dual clutch transmission which is sending all the power to the rear wheels.
