Ferrari 458 Italia rides on HRE Series 101 wheels image

The Miami based wheels manufacturer HRE has recently presented its newest creation, the so called Series 101 rims, which have been fitted onto a Ferrari 458 Italia.

When talking about wheel manufacturers, HRE are one of the most known in the business and when the company is announcing new rims, what better car to equip it with new “shoes” than the Ferrari 458 Italia. The Series 101 HRE wheels come in three models, the five-spoke mesh S101, the V-5 spole S104 and the split five-spoke S107. The rims are available in 19-22 inches in size and the one seen below are the five-spoke mesh S101 with a Satin Charcoal finish.

As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia has been officially presented to the public for the first time back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Italian supercar is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 HP at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque available at 6,000 rpm, out of which 80 percent is coming in from 3,250 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
