Things don’t always work out when you’re driving an expensive rear-mid engined supercar on a mountain road and even if everything might seem just perfect, it could all end in the blink of an eye. This is exactly the case of the 50-year old driver of this Ferrari 458 Italia, who managed to ruin his ride after flipping it on a mountain road. This is apparently the first Ferrari crash ever in Israel. The incident took place in Eilat and the driver walked away with no serious injuries, which is more than we can say about his ride.

The Ferrari 458 Italia has been designed by Pininfarina, like almost every Ferrari supercar in the last years, and it has been officially presented to the public back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, as the successor of the F430. The Ferrari 458 Italia is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, which is good for 562 HP at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque, available at 6,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear-wheel drive through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
