A 20-year old driver of a white Ferrari 458 Italia has crashed his ride into a pole in Switzerland and almost hitting a few pedestrians on the way.
Exotic and powerful supercars, combined with the lack of driving experience, or the young age in this case, will lead to incidents in which the vehicles will be destroyed and, sometimes, people will be hospitalized. The newest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming from Geneva, Switzerland, where a Ferrari 458 Italia has been totaled. The Italian supercar in question was driven by a 20-year old young man, who almost ran over a few pedestrians before stopping his ride into a pole. He lost control of the wheel while speeding.
We’re not sure if he was hurt in the incident or if the Ferrari 458 Italia will be repaired, but one thing is for sure, his father will definitely buy him something cheap from now on, like an SL63 AMG. The Ferrari 458 Italia has been in production since 2009 and it’s coming in a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive configuration. Power is provided by a 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque 4.5 liter V8 engine, mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3.3 seconds and top speed stands at 325 km/h (202 mph).
