A Ferrari 458 Italia supercar has been recently crashed in New York after its driver pushed the gas pedal too hard and lost control of the wheel.
We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from the United States, where a Ferrari 458 Italia has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question has been driven at high speed on a highway and it was eventually crashed into the median and flipped over. The incident took place in New York.
As a small reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia is a mid-engined sports car which is replacing the old Ferrari F430. The 458 Italia was officially presented to the public back in 2009, at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, also shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm available at 6,000 rpm. 80 percent of its torque is available from 3,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the Ferrari 458 Italia has been designed by Pininfarina.
