The Italian based automaker Ferrari has been recently spotted while testing the brand new 458 Monte Carlo, for the first time, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Ferrari is getting ready to storm the other great automotive event on the Old Continent, after Geneva, where the LaFerrari has been officially unveiled, this time with a new version of the 458 supercar, which will be named the Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo. The model in question is actually a hotter version of the Ferrari 458 Italia, which is getting a lighter body and more power. The 458 Monte Carlo will easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its more aggressive design.
The brand new Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo will receive a dual exhaust arrangement, central racing stripes, new front and rear bumpers, different alloy wheels and some other tweaks. Considering these changes, and the fact that it will be 100 kg lighter than the 458 Italia and pack a total of 600 HP from the 4.5 liter V8 engine, the Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo might actually be the new Scuderia. The supercar is said to do the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in less than 3.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. More details on the 458 Monte Carlo remain unknown for the moment.
