The Italian based automaker Ferrari is planning to introduce the Scuderia version of the 458 this autumn, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Ferrari was quite busy in the last year and after revealing the new F12 Berlinetta, the official successor of the 599 GTB, back in 2012, along with the new LaFerrari hybrid supercar, just a couple of months ago, the company is now focusing on producing a Scuderia version of the 458. Rumors are saying that the model will be officially presented to the public, during the Frankfurt Motor Show, in September, and its price tag should stand at 1.2 million USD.
The last Scuderia introduced was the F430, back in 2009, when the model had 503 HP and weighed 220 pounds less than the standard supercar. The stripped out Ferrari 458 Italia will be even more impressive than its predecessor, but details on how much power its engine will produce, how much the model will weigh or what will Ferrari drop from its “goodies” list remain unknown for the moment. Ferrari didn’t confirm the 458 Scuderia just yet.
