The guys at Autocar have recently had the chance to test the newest road-legal supercar produced by Ferrari, stuff the 458 Speciale.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale has been officially unveiled just a couple of months ago and it’s now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe, who has taken it for a spin. The automotive journalist is saying that this might just be the best supercar in the world and this may be huge for Ferrari, which is currently focused on the new LaFerrari hybrid supercar. The Ferrari 458 Speciale has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The supercar is taking its power from a 4.5 liter V8 engine, which is found on the 458 Italia and 458 Spider, and it’s producing a total output of 597 HP, with a peak torque of 398 lb-ft. The configuration is enough to allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds. The 458 Speciale is the spiritual successor of the 360 Challenge and the F430 Scuderia.
