The Italian based automaker Ferrari might introduce the 458 Speciale Spider during the 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show, which will be officially opening its gates in early next month.
Originally shown at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, during a private event, the brand new Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider is believed to be making its public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in early October. According to the guys from 4WheelsNews, the model has been also shown at the company’s headquarters in Maranello, this month, during a private unveil.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider is believed to become the fastest drop-top ever created by the company, until the LaFerrari Spider will be arriving at least, and it will be getting a 4.5 liter V8 engine under its hood, the same one used on the 458 Italia, 458 Spider and also on its solid roof brother, the 458 Speciale. The unit will be producing here a total output of 605 HP (445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration will take just 3 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) the supercar will need 9.1 seconds. Top speed will stand at approximately 325 km/h (202 mph).
