The tuning company named Different Car has recently produced a new body kit for the Ferrari 458 Spider, which is transforming the supercar into an LMP race car for the road.
Ferrari 458 Spider owners out there now have the chance to order a brand new body kit signed by Different Car which will transform their ride into an LMP race car for the road. The upgrade package has been named the F66 and it’s adding a large wing at the rear, new restyled bumpers, different side skirts and some other minor tweaks which will help the model stand out in a crowd. No performance details have been mentioned so our guess is that the model’s engine is stock.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Spider has been officially presented to the public last year, during the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 570 horsepower at 9,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 398 lb-ft available at 6,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed F1 transmission and the 0 to 62 mph takes just 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 198 mph and the price in the United States has been set at 257,000 USD.
