Ferrari 458 Spider gets updated by MEC Design image

MEC Design has recently introduced a new styling program for the Ferrari 458 Spider, which has received some pretty interesting items.

The Ferrari 458 Spider, modified by the aftermarket specialists at MEC Design, can get the Scossa Rossa body kit, which will help it stand out from a crowd, thanks to the extended side skirts, to the front lip spoiler, to the spoiler corners, to the three-piece rear diffuser and to some other tweaks. This has been priced from 6,900 EUR. Those of you interested in mode upgrades can also order the new sports exhaust system, the lowering springs or the wheels, ranging in size from 20- to 22-inch.

Changes made to the cabin of the Ferrari 458 Spider by MEC Design are limited and they include the MEC branded floor mats, the carbon fiber trim or the special sill plates, amongst others. Sadly the tuning company isn’t offering any changes made to the engine so the 4.5 liter V8 is still producing a total output of 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. This is allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and to reach a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
