Ferrari 488 GTB online configurator launched image

The online configurator for the newest supercar to come out of Maranello, the Ferrari 488 GTB, has been launched recently by the Italian based automaker.

It may not be as expensive as a Pagani, a Koenigsegg or a Bugatti but it still one good ride and if you were considering adding it to your garage, you will be happy to find out that the online configurator has been introduced. The Prancing Horse is allowing users to choose just about anything, from the exterior paint to the interior upholstery, the color of the brake calipers, the amount of carbon fiber trim inside, the color of the seatbelts and carpets, the stitching on the leather seats and just about any tiny detail can be customized.

The Ferrari 488 GTB is the successor of the 458 Italia. The model is basically a facelift which has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The model has also made its Asian debut at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show and it is retaining the rear-wheel drive and rear mid-engine layout. It has a two-door coupe body style and a slightly updated design, with 50 percent increased downforce. The 3.9 liter twin turbo V8 engine is replacing the old 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 and it is coming with 661 HP (493 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque, available at 3,000 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), it needs 3.0s and top speed stands at more than 330 km/h (210 mph).
