One day after Ferrari has introduced the new 488 GTB, rendering artists have gone wild and created the 488 GTB Spider, in the virtual world for the moment.
The newest supercar to come out of Maranello is called the something similar made to the California and California T. The vehicle has a wider front spoiler, active flaps in the diffuser, a new blown spoiler, different LED taillights and some lines which are reminding us of the original 308 GTB.
The modifications are not just for a visual reason but they are promising an increased downforce which is translated into faster cornering and improved stability. The cabin of the supercar has received a new interface and graphics for the infotainment system, a revised instrument panel, angled air vents, body hugging seats, new satellite control clusters and several other tweaks which should be appreciated by Ferrari fans.
The most significant modification is coming from under its hood, where the 4.5 liter V8 engine has been dropped in favor for a brand new 3.9 liter V8. The new unit is putting down 670 HP (493 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque, at 3,000 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needs 3 seconds and it will go all the way to 330 km/h (205 mph). The Ferrari 488 GTB is only available as a coupe for the moment and this will be making its public debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
