A Ferrari 599 GTO supercar has been recently crashed in Germany, after its driver lost control of the wheel due to excessive speeding.
Where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from Germany, where a Ferrari 599 GTO has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question has been crashed by its 60-yer old driver. The incident took place in Munich, Germany, and the driver managed to walk away unharmed, unlike his ride.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 599 GTO has been officially announced on the 8th of April. The model is a road-going version of the 599XX and, at that time, it was the fastest road car ever to be produced by Ferrari, after lapping the Fiorano track in 1m and 24s. The unit found under its hood is producing 661 HP (493 kW) and 620 Nm of torque (460 lb-ft), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h in under 3.3 seconds and a 335 km/h.
