Ferrari is planning to reveal its replacement of the 599 GTB Fiorano in the nearby future and the new supercar is expected to be named the F620.
According to the guys over at the replacement of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano will be called the F620 and the new supercar will used the same engine as the Ferrari FF, the 6.3 liter V12 unit, which will be configured to deliver no less than 700 horsepower. The engine is being expected to be mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed transmission from the 458 Italia and its body will be influenced by the FF, but there’s no word on whether the supercar will get all-wheel or just rear-wheel drive.
Initial rumors were saying that the Italian based automaker will introduce the 599 replacement in a front-engined, and the supercar will ride on an aluminum intensive platform. This “rumor” was released by the company’s CEO, Amedeo Felisa, and this is probably the last official thing Ferrari said about the new supercar. As a reminder, the replacement for the Ferrari 599 model has been recently caught testing in Maranello, but sadly the supercar was being camouflaged.
