The first official image with the upcoming Ferrari 620 GT, the successor of the 599 GTB, has recently hit the web.
After the newest supercar in Ferrari’s lineup has been teased, time has come for the 620 GT, which is the replacement of the 599 GTB, to leak on the internet, and for the image above we must thank the guys from gtspirit.com. As you can see from the photo, the Ferrari 620 GT has a front fascia similar to the one found on the 458 Italia, but this won’t be the only thing shared by the new Ferrari model and the exotic supercar.
Our source is also saying that the Ferrari 620 GT will be powered, just like initial rumors were announcing, by the 6.3 liter V12 engine, which will generate a total output of 740 horsepower. The Ferrari 620 GT will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds, which is actually 0.4 seconds faster than the Lamborghini Aventador. The 599 GTB replacement will be able to hit a top speed of 340 km/h or 211 mph.
As a reminder, the Ferrari 620 GT is expected to share the same complicated four-wheel drive system with the Ferrari FF, and the powerful 6.3 liter V12 engine will be mated to the same dual-clutch seven-speed transmission, used in the 458 Italia too. The new supercar will ride on aluminum intensive platform. More details on the model on 29th of February, when Ferrari will officially present it.
