NHL star Jakub Voracek has recently crashed his Ferrari California in the Czech republic after hitting an uncoming truck head on.
We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from the Czech Republic, where a Ferrari California has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question has been crashed by NHL star Jakub Voracek, who was going home at high speed, when he hit an uncoming truck.
Jakub Voracek managed to escape with a few injuries but unfortunately his ride will probably be transformed into beer cans, considering the fact that the repairs have been estimated at approximately 150,000 USD. As a small reminder, the Ferrari California has been officially presented to the public back in 2008 at the Paris Motor Show and it’s coming with a 4.3 liter gasoline direct injected V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 450 horsepower. The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and the Italian supercar is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 310 km/h or 193 mph.
