The driver of a Ferrari California has seen his ride ruined after a collision with a truck, in Poland.
Whenever writing about car crashed which include expensive and exotic cars we are used to saying that it’s the driver’s fault for ruining them but every once in a while, someone else is to blame for such incidents. A good example is coming from Strykow, Poland where a Ferrari California has been hit by a truck. The police comments are saying that it was the truckers fault for causing the accident. Happily no one was injured in the crash, which is more than we can say about the Italian vehicle.
The Ferrari California has been officially introduced 5 years ago, during the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The model is powered by a 4.3 liter gasoline direct injected V8 engine, which is good for 450 HP, mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, or a six-speed manual. Thanks to this configuration, the Italian model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph). The Ferrari California is coming as in a two-door body style and it has a front-mid engined, rear-wheel drive layout. Just like almost every other Ferrari car out there, the California has been designed by Pininfarina.
