Ferrari California T involved in DUI crash in Ireland image

This Ferrari California T has been crashed recently after its driver had too many drinks before taking it for a spin.

Taking your car for a quick spin after having a few drinks is not really the best idea you could have. This is a lesson the driver of this Ferrari California has found out the hard way. According to the guys from Wrecked Exotics, the sports car has been crashed in Ireland, into a couple of parked vehicles. Reports are indicating that the guy holding the wheel has been driving under the influence. He fled the scene on foot and he was taken into custody later.

The good news is that no one has been injured in this unfortunate incident, the bad part is that the same cannot be said on the grand tourer, or the driver’s ego. The Ferrari California has been introduced in 2008 and it has hit the assembly line in Maranello in the same year. The vehicle is being offered in a 2+2 cabriolet body style, bringing a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The current entry-level Ferrari has stayed in production until 2013, when the California T, a facelifted model, has been introduced. This has replaced the old 4.3 liter V8 engine, with its 454 HP (338 kW) with a newer 3.9 liter bi-turbo V8, rated at 552 HP (412 kW). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the California T needs 3.6 seconds and top speed stands at 315 km/h (196 mph).
