A Ferrari Enzo replica is currently being offered for sale on eBay and the model in question is getting a V12 engine sourced from a BMW.
BMW is planning to axe the large V12 engine from its future models, making room for turbocharged V8s, but that doesn’t mean that the current units can be thrown away just yet. The V12 engine sourced from a BMW has been added under the hood of this vehicle, which is a replica of the iconic Ferrari Enzo. The model in question is a well-made replica of the Italian supercar but you can easily tell that this isn’t the real deal when looking at the rear window which is covering the engine bay and how this is connected to the roof.
The untrained eye might take this to be the real Italian supercar but once you’ll step inside you will definitely know that this isn’t a Ferrari. Under the hood of the model we can find a 5.0 liter BMW V12 engine, probably borrowed from the 850i, which is producing a total output of 400 HP (298 kW), mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The exhaust system has been taken from an original Ferrari F430 and the model is riding on 19-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 255/30 and 315/25 tires, front to rear. The highest bid stands at just over 40,000 euros.
