Industry veteran Jeff Curry, who will become the brand’s new vice president, will soon join Jaguar Land Rover North America.
Jaguar’s North America sales are up 25% this year to 9,411 units, and the British Brand is looking forward in consolidating the good results, backed by the arrival of the beautiful and lavish F-Type. Also, Jaguar and Land Rover total US sales are up 15% in the first seven months of 2013, to 36,445 units.
In this favorable climate, they also seek to consolidate the management positions with the addition of Curry, aged 43, with more than 20 years in the automotive industry, most recently being vice president of marketing at Ferrari North America. Before that, he was Audi of America’s e-mobility product manager. According to Jaguar officials, he will begin work on Aug. 13 and report to Andy Goss, president of Jaguar Land Rover North America.
“Jeff Curry is a major addition to our North American leadership team as the head of Jaguar at a time of tremendous opportunity for the brand,” Goss said. “Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles.”
