The official replacement of the 599 GTB, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, has been recently launched in Australia too where, unlike most markets across Europe or the United States, it gets a whopping price set at 691,100 AUD, which is translated into 709,700 USD at today’s exchange rate, and that’s before paying any road taxes.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is the fastest Ferrari ever build and the model is powered by a 6,262 cc B12 engine, which is developing a total output of 730 horsepower, with a peak torque of 730 lb-ft (690 Nm), out of which 80 percent is available from as low as 2,500 rpm. The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta has been brought to most major automotive event throughout the globe this year, including the 2012 Paris Motor Show last month or at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August, over-seas.
