Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale gets rendered image

And, my God, it does look marvelous indeed.

It has been just a few days ago since the Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale has been caught on camera, with no camouflage covering its body, and now, the model in question is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of a new image. And this isn’t your regular image because it is a rendering aimed to show you the design of the newest supercar born in Maranello better. The photo has been signed by X-Tomi Design and it is showing a gold-finished exotic ride, with a black diffuser, a small rear wing, updated fenders, new side skirts and a fresh set of five-double spoke silver wheels.

The new Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale will be the range-topping version of the already available F12 Berlinetta and it will be taking aim, despite carrying a front-mid engine and rear-wheel drive layout, at the recently unveiled Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce. The Maranello born exotic model will be making use of the same 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, as this is expected to produce approximately 800 HP. Rumor has it that this might use the HY-KERS system developed especially for the LaFerrari. Only 650 examples of the supercar will be produced. Additional details on the new Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale are limited at this point and will be announced once the model will be making its public debut, at the upcoming 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, this September.
