A Ferrari F355 Berlinetta has been recently crashed in Switzerland after it has been on a partial head on collision with a Ford vehicle.
Exotic and powerful vehicles combined with not enough driving experience will most of the times lead to some spectacular crashes in which the supercars end up in the crusher and the drivers usually walk away uninjured, or with small wounds. The most recent example of such an incident is coming from Switzerland, where a Ferrari F355 has been involved in a head on crash with a Ford Galaxy. Both vehicles drove off the road after the crash and two people were slightly injured. The incident took place in Valais.
The Ferrari F355 has been in production between 1994 and 1999 and it was offered in three body styles, Berlinetta, Spider and Targa top. The model came in a rear mid-engine rear –wheel drive layout and it stood at 4,249 mm long, 1,900 mm wide and 1,171 mm tall, with a curb weight of 1,350 kg. Power was being provided by a 3.5 liter V8 engine, which was good for 375 HP (279 kW), mated to either a six-speed manual or to a 6-speed electrohydraulic manual transmission.
