An old Ferrari F355 has been involved in an accident recently in Chile as it seems to have been rear ended by another vehicle.
The great grandfather of the Ferrari 458, the F355, is definitely remembered by many as an icon of the ‘90s thanks to its impressive design and performance, but sadly this article isn’t something Ferrari fans would like to remember. According to the guys from Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question has been involved in a crash in Chile, but how this happened exactly is not known at the moment. Chances are, the model was rear ended by a Hyundai.
The good news is that no one seems to have been injured in the incident but the bad news is that the same cannot be said on the supercar, whose owner will probably receive a large servicing bill after he will try to bring it back to its former condition. The Ferrari F355 has been produced between 1994 and 1999 in three versions, coupe, targa top and spider, and it had a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, with a 3.5 liter V8 engine under its hood, rated at 375 HP (279 kW) and 363 Nm (268 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needed 4.7s and top speed stood at 295 km/h (183 mph).
