One of the greatest supercars ever to be released from Maranello, the Ferrari F40, is now the subject of a small photo shoot, which has managed to attract a lot of eyes in the virtual environment.
The Ferrari F40 is still considered by many one of the best supercars ever to have been created so because this is an extremely rare ride which cannot be seen just about everywhere, its appearance is known to give birth to some weird reactions. The small photo gallery posted below has been signed by expert photographer GF Williams and we have to admit that we might have found our next desktop images.
The Italian based automaker has created the Ferrari F40 in order to celebrate its 40th anniversary. This has been the last Ferrari supercar to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari and at its time it used to be the most powerful, the fastest and the most expensive model the company has ever sold. Production was limited to just 1,315 units and it has been put together between 1987 and 1992. The F40 had a 2-door coupe and a mid-engine with rear-wheel drive. Power came from a 2.9L twin turbo V8, with 471 HP (352 kW) and 577 Nm (425 lb-ft) of torque. Top speed stood at 320 km/h (200 mph) and from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the vehicle needed just 3.9s.
