Ferrari F430 gets crushed underneath a truck in Florida image

The driver of a Ferrari F430, who has been under the influence of alcohol, has crashed his ride underneath a truck in Florida recently.

It’s not often that we cannot recognize a supercar but we have to admit that we took a look at the photo more than once before figuring out that we are talking about a Ferrari F430. The Italian supercar in question ended up looking like this after its driver has lost control of the wheel due to excessive speeding and crashed into this truck. The guy has been under the influence of alcohol, as the police later found out, and he was accompanied by a woman passenger.

The two of them had left a night club earlier that night and little did they know that he will end up arrested and her in hospital. The good news is that the female passenger will be recovering from this horrific crash but the bad part is that we cannot simply say the same about the driver’s ego, who will think twice before getting behind the wheel after having a few drinks. Rumor has it that this black F430 was actually drag racing another Ferrari when the accident happened but we cannot be sure of that.

The Ferrari F430 is the predecessor of the 458 Italia. This has been put together between 2004 and 2009 and it came in two body styles, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The supercar was powered by a 4.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, rated at 491 HP (366 kW) and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needed just 4 seconds and top speed stood at 315 km/h (196 mph).
