A Ferrari F430 supercar has been involved in a DUI crash recently after its young driver has had a lot of drinks before getting behind the wheel, in Doral, FL.
The 26-year old driver of this Ferrari F430 and his female passenger crashed the supercar under an 18-wheeler. This has happened after alcohol and speed were involved and a little bit of the “watch this!” words, which doesn’t lead to anything good. Surprisingly, the two of them have managed to survive this horrific crash, despite the F430 barely looks recognizable. The young driver of the Italian supercar was doing 40 mph over the speed limit and he has over 30 driving violations. The good news is that an 18-wheeler is what stopped them and not a small city car but the bad part is that this F430 will probably end up in the scrap yard.
Ferrari has been producing the F430 between 2004 and 2009. This was a rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive Italian supercar, offered in two body styles, a coupe and a roadster. The same 4.3 liter naturally aspirated petrol V8 engine was found under their hoods, which was capable of putting down a total of 491 HP (366 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) of torque, available at 5,250 rpm. The unit was connected to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed electrohydraulic transmission, allowing the supercar to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.0 seconds and to go up to 315 km/h (196 mph).
