The Italian based automaker Ferrari is planning to offer the new F70 supercar from 800, stuff 000 GBP, stuff once the model will arrive in the company’s showrooms.
The Ferrari F70, which is considered to be the successor of the iconic Enzo, is currently under development and the final production version of the model is expected to make its public debut sometimes next spring, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t talk about its price. Bad news for fans of the Ferrari supercars who were thinking of buying the F70 because the model won’t be anywhere near what we might call “cheap” and, in fact, its starting price is expected to be set at around 800,000 GBP.
The upcoming supercar will be the fastest production Ferrari ever and it’s expected to be more sophisticated than the McLaren P1, its direct rival. The Ferraro F70 will use a carbon fiber monocoque, weighing just 70 kg, 20 percent lighter than the Enzo’s. The supercar will be powered by a V12 engine, backed up by a small electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. The petrol burner, with its 6.3L in displacement, is expected to produce more than 750 BHP, while the electric motor should generate 100 BHP and 200 lb-ft of torque. Additional details on the supercar are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its debut.
