A track-only Ferrari FXX K has been spotted recently while being driven around Maranello, near the company’s factory, on public roads.
The Ferrari LaFerrari has given birth to a track-only version, a few months back, the Ferrari FXX K. This is one of the rarest hypercars the carmaker has ever put together as only 40 units of them will be produced and, despite the cost of approximately 2.5 million euros for one, all of them have been sold out already. Keep in mind that we are talking about a car which cannot be driven on public roads as it is not street legal. However, that didn’t stop Ferrari of taking one around the roads of Maranello, near its headquarters, as this has been caught on camera.
Ferrari has introduced the FXX K last year and this is coming in a two-door coupe body style, with a rear-wheel drive and a mid-engine layout. The brand new Ferrari FXX K is 4,896 mm long, 2,051 mm wide and 1,116 mm tall, with a weight of just 1,255 kg. The track-only hypercar is also a hybrid, just like its road-legal brother, the LaFerrari, and it is using the same 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, with 860 HP (633 kW), backed up by a 190 HP (140 kW) electric motor.. The total output produced by this assembly stands at 100 HP more than the one in the road-legal vehicle, at 1,050 HP (772 kW).
