The Italian based automaker Ferrari is apparently planning to introduce an even more hardcore version of the recently unveiled FXX K track toy.
Ferrari is keeping up with its times by managing to introduce one of the hottest supercars ever produced, the LaFerrari, with its hybrid powertrain, and then the FXX K, the track focused version of the impressive model. But it seems that this isn’t enough for the prancing horse because the company is looking into developing an even more hardcore version of the FXX K.
The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet, but according to the guys from Autocar, who have spoken to Marc Gene, the FXX K Evoluzione might be a possibility. This model will not necessarily mean more power because the official thinks that cars in the future will not have more than 1,021 HP (722 kW), which is what the FXX K has, and Ferrari will focus on power to weight ratio and efficiency rather than adding more turbos.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari FXX K is being put together in just 32 units. Each one costs 2.5 million USD but if you still want one, despite not being street legal, you should know that all of them have been sold out. Power is being provided by a 6.3 liter V12 engine, with 860 HP (633 kW), which is backed up by the electric motor, with 190 HP (140 kW). The total output stands at 1,021 HP (722 kW).
