The first rendering with the Ferrari LaFerrari with the Dubai police livery on it couldn’t have gone through unseen.
As probably all petrol heads know, the Dubai police department has some of the hottest cars money can buy these days which include the Bugatti Veyron, the very rare Aston Martin One-77, the McLaren MP4-12C, the Lamborghini Aventador, the Ferrari FF, the Bentley Continental GT or the modified Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, amongst others, so a Ferrari LaFerrari would fit in just great in this lineup, helping the CO2 emissions of the department without missing on power.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is the company’s first hybrid supercar which is offered in a two-door body style, with a rear mid-engine and a rear-wheel drive layout. Power is coming from a 6.3 liter V12 engine rated at 789 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, which is helped by a KERS unit, adding 161 HP (120 kW). The total output produced is 950 HP (708 kW) and more than 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is made in less than 3 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph).
