Another rendering with the Ferrari LaFerrari Spider has hit the web and it is showing us one appealing looks for the hypercar.
Ferrari has sold out all 499 units of the LaFerrari but rumor has it that the company will not stop here with the development of the model and with Porsche having the 918 Spyder, chances are the Maranello based automaker will also introduce a Spider version of its hypercar in the near future. The image posted below is providing us with a first look into such a version and it is a simple rendering at the moment, signed by Theophilus Chin, but we have to admit that it looks simply hot.
When it will be eventually introduced, the Ferrari LaFerrari Spider will be using the same 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, rated at 789 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, backed up by the KERS unit, providing an extra 161 HP (120 kW), the same one as its solid roof brother. The total output will stand at 950 HP (708 kW) and 800 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, but don’t act too surprised if it will be slightly more powerful than the regular LaFerrari, because it will probably be strengthened in order to cope with the chopped off roof. The current hypercar can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3 seconds and it has a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). It has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
