Ferrari has announced its plans to introduce a special edition model exclusively in the United States, where the supercar will be unveiled on the 12th of October, during a gala dinner.
The Italian based automaker Ferrari will soon pull the wraps off a new special edition model, which will become available for order exclusively across the United States. The model in question has been announced by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, the company’s chairman, who said that this has been designed to celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary in the United States and it will be coming with some specific features.
The exterior paint scheme will be blue and it will be getting the white stripes as a reference of the NART (North American Racing Team) colors used between 60s and 80s. According to the Ferrari official, the model in question will be offered in a limited series of just 10 units and each one will cost approximately 3.2 million USD. The vehicle will be officially unveiled at a gala dinner on October 12, which is a day before Montezemolo will be replaced by Sergio Marchionne. The model is believed to be based on the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta but more details are unknown for the moment.
