The modern 500 model made by Fiat with “a touch” of Gucci on it will arrive in the United States auto market by the end of this year.
The Fiat 500c by Gucci will be available in two base colors, white and black, with Gucci’s longitudinal lines on it, sitting on a new fresh set of alloy wheels, 16-inch, with the designer’s logo in the middle.
“With Gucci as our design partner we have amplified the Italian style of our Fiat 500 with unique exterior and interior looks that will make the car truly unique on the road. This special edition adds dimension to the Fiat 500 portfolio and will appeal to North American customers who appreciate Italian style just as much as modern technology, value and fuel efficiency”, said the head of Fiat Brand North America, Laura Soave.
The 500c by Gucci features stuff like the Frau bi-color leather seats, chromed finishes, new materials, automatic climate system, seven airbags, a blue&me system, parking sensors, leather wrapped steering wheel, audio CD and MP3 system and the Gucci logo inserted in various elements of the interior.
Power to the special edition is coming from a 1.4 liter 16v MultiAir engine, developing 101 horsepower and 98 lb-ft of torque, connected to a five-speed manual transmission.
Prices for the Fiat 500c by Gucci in the US haven’t been announced yet but in Europe the car costs around 20.000 euros.
