The Italian based automaker Fiat is planning to introduce a facelifted version of the 500 in a few months, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
After it has been on the market for quite a few years now and since it has proved to be the most successful vehicle in the segment, the Fiat 500 is now getting ready to receive some updates as the car manufacturer is planning to introduce a facelifted version of it. The announcement hasn’t been made official at this time and it is actually part of a report which has been published recently.
The 2016 Fiat 500 is expected to come with the regular modifications which will be including the new front bumper, the updated rear bumper, a possible change made to its front grille and probably some tweaks made to the lighting units. Chances are the interior design will be slightly updated too but since we are talking about a facelift and not a new generation, don’t expect the modifications to completely change the looks of the car.
We are not sure at this time whether Fiat will be offering some new units to the updated variant of the 500 but chances are that the popular city car will receive at least some upgrades made to the current lineup. Additional details on the 2016 Fiat 500 are limited for the moment and will be announced, if the report turns out to be accurate, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be opening its gates in September.
