The Italian based automaker is planning to reveal a new version of the popular 500 model, an MPV, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
The Fiat 500 is definitely one of the most popular models out there, but until now this wasn’t actually what you could call a family car. Well, that’s about to change as the guys over at autoexpress.co.uk are saying. According to our source, Fiat will present the 500 MPV at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, and the model is expected to go on sale right after the event for a price around 13.000 GBP. Autoexpress.co.uk is also saying that the Fiat 500 MPV is based on a modified platform of the new Panda model and the vehicle should “revolutionize” the people carrier segment.
The image shown above this article has been made by autoexpress.co.uk based on their information sources in Italy and this is expected to look very much like the model in question. The Fiat 500 MPV is expected to get the same styling at the 500 model, with widened wheel arches, a simple Fiat grillem a curvy tail and some other interesting features. Sadly this is all we know for now about the Fiat 500 MPV but more details will emerge once the model will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
