Fiat 500 Nation going to Bologna Motor Show image

The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently announced that a special edition named the 500 Nation will be presented to the public at the upcoming 2011 Bologna Motor Show, which will officially open its gates on December 3.

According to the manufacturer, the Fiat 500 Nation special edition has been designed to celebrate the model’s launch in the United States and comes with an exclusive America Blue exterior, while the convertible version has been painted in tri-coat white. Fiat says that the 500 Nation special editions features “Stars & Stripes” graphics and the small car is now sitting on 16 inch alloy wheels.


“The first edition pays homage to the United States, celebrating the arrival of the 500 in North America and the beginning of collaboration with the American pop singer Jennifer Lopez. Besides, a cool icon of the Italian style but with a marked pop soul, the Fiat 500 continues to capture attention also across the ocean bot for having won over the US audience and having renewed the product placement and communications fields by making an appearance paired up with Jennifer Lopez”, as the automaker says in the official press release.

The Fiat 500 Nation special edition will be officially launched in February and the production will be limited to just 500 units. The price for the hatch will start at 14.500 EUR while the convertible will cost 18.000 EUR.
