After Fiat has joined forces with Gucci and launched a limited edition of the 500 for a price that can be called anything but cheap, the Italian automaker signed a partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) that will lead the creation of a Pink Ribbon special edition for the United States.
“We are honored to partner with an upstanding organization like The Breast Cancer Research Foundation that supports a cause so important to our consumers and our company”, said Laura Soave, Head of Fiat North America. “The Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon edition offers our Fiat consumers a unique and stylish way to express their support, help fund breast cancer research and ultimately drive change.”
Fiat says that the 500 Pink Ribbon Edition is available in Argento (silver) and Bianco (white) exterior paint and has a signature dark pink bodyside stripe with the “500” logo and accenting “ribbon” in light pink.
The “new” Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon doesn’t have too much to offer compared to the 2012 generation except some logos and new paint schemes, and according to the Italian automaker only 250 units will be made, the base price being set at 22.500 USD, including $500 destination charge.
