The 2015 Geneva Motor Show will see the debut of a retro inspired version of the Fiat 500, called the 500 Vintage ’57.

Besides the unveil of the Doblo Trekking, Fiat is also playing safe with releasing more and more special editions of the extremely popular 500. The newest special edition unveiled is called the 500 Vintage ’57 and this will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March. The car manufacturer is stating that the model in question is paying tribute to the original 500.

“Just like the exterior, also the interior of the Fiat 500 Vintage ’57 is the result of a modern reinterpretation of some particular aspects of the historical 500 as demonstrated by the use of white and the elegant two-tone (vintage effect) upholstery in tobacco Frau leather with ‘half-moon’ inserts (stylistic feature of the model) in ivory leather with tobacco colored “500” embroidery”, says the carmaker in the official press release.

The new Fiat 500 Vintage ’57 has received the pastel blue exterior finish, the white roof and the 17-inch wheels which are similar to the ones used on the 1957 500. The interior design of the model is bringing the ivory leather / tobacco Frau leather seats, the white finish for the dashboard, the Blue&Me connectivity system, historical Fiat badges and several other goodies, including the 7 airbags, start / stop, CD and MP3 radio, Hill Holder, ESP, ABS with EBD and so on. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will be receiving a variety of familiar petrol and diesel units.
