The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently announced its plans to introduce the 500E Electric during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show next month.
According to the car manufacturer, the Fiat 500E Electric will be officially presented to the public for the first time during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The Fiat 500E will be the electric version of the popular model and it seems that the company is only unveiling it in order to prove that it can comply with the over-seas environment regulations.
The Fiat 500E will get an electric engine under its hood which will produce a total output of 100 horsepower and the total range of the “green” vehicle will be 160 km (100 miles) on a single charge, guaranteed by the lithium-ion battery pack. Even if it was officially announced for making its debut during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, we still don’t have any more official details on the model, so we will have to wait for the North American automotive event in order to find out more on the Fiat 500E.
