The Italian based automaker Fiat is planning to develop a hot version of the 500L, which will wear the Abarth badges all over its body and in the cabin.
The Fiat 500L has started its life in late 2011 when it was just a rumor and a few months after that we managed to catch it on camera for the very first time, but since the model has been unveiled earlier this year, it seemed that Fiat has done everything it could for it. But that was until Abarth found out about the new model in the family and soon upgrades started flowing on its body, in the cabin, under its hood and under the car.
The photo posted above has been provided by Auto Edizione and it’s revealing a hot version of the 500L, which will get the 1.4 liter MultiAir Turbo DDCT under its hood, producing a total output of 165 HP (123 kW). The model will sent this power to an all-wheel drive. The Abarth 500L will also get some exterior tweaks and interior modifications, which will help it stand out in a crowd. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will probably be announced next year.
