Fiat has recently introduced the new 500L Beats Edition, which has received some interesting updates, along with two additional engines.
The Fiat 500L Beats Edition is getting the updated Beats sound system, which has been apparently developed specifically for this model by Dr. Dre and by Jimmy Iovine, the Interscope Geffen A&M Records chairman and record producer. The vehicle can easily stand out from a crowd, thanks to its two-tine grey and black livery, which is available in glossy or matte finishes, and it’s complemented by the red and satin chrome.
Speaking of new engines, the Fiat 500L Beats Edition is now getting a 1.6 liter MultiJet II turbo diesel and a 1.4 liter T-Jet turbocharged gasoline burner. Fiat says that both engines are producing a total output of 120 HP (88 kW), while the torque figure stands at 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) for the diesel and at 215 Nm (158 lb-ft) for the gasoline. The Fiat 500L Beats Edition, powered by the 1.6 liter MultiJet II, can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds and it’s burning 4.6L/100km of fuel (61.4 mpg UK / 51.1 mpg US). The other model can accelerate in 10.2 seconds and it’s burning 6.9L/100km (41 mpg UK / 34 mpg US).
