The Italian based automaker Fiat has hinted the introduction of an Abarth version of the recently unveiled 500X.
After it has been officially presented to the public a couple of weeks ago, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in a world premiere, the Fiat 500X has been placed into the spotlights once again, this time with a possible hinting into an Abarth version by the company’s vice president of design, who has recently spoken to the guys from CarAdvice.
“The 500X is a good body for Abarth. It’s absolutely perfect in terms of drivability, control. The driving seat is perfectly measured to control the car. So the Abarth would be perfect”, said the company’s official.
When it will be officially introduced, the new Fiat 500X Abarth will be instantly recognizable as an Abarth thanks to its aggressive body kit and large alloy wheels. Its interior design will be slightly updated too but the most significant change will be made under its hood, where a brand new and powerful engine will be providing the necessary output. More details on the upcoming Fiat 500X Abarth are limited for the moment and will be announced officially once the model will be ready for its future customers.
