The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently released a couple of images with the production body of the 500X crossover.
Fiat’s newest model currently is the 500X, a crossover sharing the same “goodies” as the Jeep Renegade, and the vehicle is being placed into the spotlights once again, thanks to the car manufacturer, which has released a couple of images with it. The two photos posted below are showing the production body of the Fiat 500X, naked, and they were taken at the Melfi plant in Italy, which is owned by Fiat. The Fiat 500X and the Jeep Renegade will be assembled in the same facility and in the same production line.
The two crossovers will also share the platform between them and some other bits and pieces, but unlike the Renegade, which basically looks like a small crossover, the 500X looks like a 500 on steroids, which doesn’t seem to be very impressive. The new Fiat 500X will be officially unveiled on the 4th of July, marking the 57th anniversary of the original 500. More details on the Italian crossover are limited for the moment so we will have to wait and see what this model is really like.
